The Bag's Bio

Suzanne started doing comedy in 1980, in Burlesque clubs back in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She says, "Being a dancer, and a comic seemed to actually work well together! I wasn't funny all the time, but there were times when the whole thing just seemed to call for it. Men have marvelous senses of humor!"

Sue’s father left shortly after she was born, so things were hard, but her mom always supported her in whatever she wanted to do. "I ran away when I was very young, and like most rebellious kids, thought I knew it all." The road taught much, and luckily Suzanne made it through without the drugs, and negativity that can come in the business. She found her father in 1983. "It was a good thing, fathers sometimes have no idea, the impact their presence, or lack of it, affects their children. It helped me know more about myself than any other one experience."

In 1993 she had her daughter Cheyenne. She says, "Chey is the best thing
I have ever done! It was hard being a single mom sometimes, but we made it through, and are best friends. I never loved something, or someone so much!"
Suzanne says, the struggles made her, and their bond stronger. Giving her the strength to leave "Better homes and gardens" behind in 2001 and head out west to chase the dream. "All I ever wanted was 4 things, to have a healthy, happy child, a horse ranch in the Rockies, complete with the mountain man, and to make it in comedy. I love to make people laugh!"

"The life of an entertainer is not an easy one for some to live. Everyone has their dreams, and hopes, and sometimes they can't be enough of the same. I have been single for a good while now, it will take a special man to share this life with me, he will have to be strong, and secure in himself enough to trust. I miss having a partner, because when you share a common dream with someone, it seems getting there is not only easier, it is a hell of a lot more fun!  I know that I can't let go of the dream, I have wanted this all my life! Time will bring it, and him, when the time is right. It isn't up to me, I trust my Angels, they have never let me down!

My mother always asked me, 'How bad do you want it Suz?' I believe you CAN have it all but really, there is a price for everything. The price for following this dream has been high, but I don't have any other choice, when you work at something all your life, and get so close to finally achieving it, you just have to follow through."

It seems for Suzanne, the dream is very close to fruition. She has been recognized across the country as one of the funniest, and most like able personalities going. In the last year alone, she has played from Alaska to Florida, and this year will be expanding that from New England to Mexico! She has played at major motorcycle rallies and completely supports our soldiers, by playing at military bases across the U.S. sharing the bill and performing with many major entertainers, from Sam Kinison, to Lynyrd Skynyrd. This fall, she is hoping to be a part of "THE LOVE RIDE" in California. Stay tuned for more info...

Suzanne also donates many shows every year to charities for downed riders, Children's organizations, and animal shelters. She also answers all e-mail personally.

"I love the bikers, and the soldiers, the kids and the critters! They all are unique and special, with big hearts and a playfulness in their souls! Never loose the playfulness in your soul!!!"

So, stand by all, it is gonna be a hell of a ride! I am honored to be not only her assistant, but her friend. Being a part of this has been wonderful for me too. Get to know the Bag lady, it will surely change you for the better!

Now, my life in my words!

Hello All! Was sitting home last night reflecting on my life, and trying to decide what to put on this page. Folks say, you should write about your life on these, but after thinking about my life... I realized the truth of it all. It is not really about my life story. But it is about the people that have shared themselves, and their gifts with me along the way, that have made this a story anyone might want to hear. So, I think I need to say thanks to them all. If I tried to list each person individually, it would become something no one would have time to read if they wanted to. The list is enormous! So, I will instead, just do the best I can. I hope in this, everyone that reads it, gets something out of it for their life. SO here goes...

THANK YOU to all of you for the amazing love and support you have given me all this time. From Pittsburgh, to Denver, and all points in between!

In reading this, I hope you all know who you are, and where you are remembered as I sit here looking back. I assure you, not one of you is forgotten.

First, I give thanks, to The Great Spirit, for giving courage and strength to my soul. To the mother of us all, The Mother Earth, for giving my body sustenance, and quiet mountain tops to sit on and ponder my dreams, where I felt free enough and big enough to believe anything is possible! Everyone should get to the top of a huge mountain, and just sit alone there. It is amazing what your spirit will tell you about YOUR true self! Most of us are stronger than we have been brought to believe... I have had a life that so many people never get a chance to have! I know what it is like to be homeless, but I also know the comfort of a happy home. I know how it feels to fly a bush plane over the Alaska Range, run on beautiful beaches, drive fast Corvettes, I've raced across the desert on my Harley, and run across a mountain on my horse. I have been in 49 states and Canada, and I love this country so much!   I thank my God  and our soldiers everyday, that I am free. Best of all, I have loved, and been loved!

Sometimes, it is hard to believe you can live any life you choose, but you can! But you must live without fear!

Thanks to my Mom for supporting my dreams enough to let go. Despite your toughness, I know it has been hard for you. I miss you every day.

Thanks to my amazing and beautiful Daughter, for putting up with the uncertainties of life that came with giving up all things safe and secure. Sometimes, you have to give up one thing, to get another. What is the dream worth? For me, it was/still is worth almost everything. Cheyenne, you are my life's greatest love.

Thank you to Pat & James @ The Van Eden Ranch in Idaho Springs. You are and have been my other family, and without your help, I never would have made it here. You opened your home and your hearts, many years ago, to a whacko comedienne, allowed me a stay in paradise, and the pull and magic of it brought me back to my spirits home, and to my dreams! You are my Colorado!

So many people have touched my life in so many amazing ways! Some of you, for a moment, some for a short time, some for a lifetime. Knowing all of you, has made me a better human!

Last, To the wonderful men I have loved, and been loved by... THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!

Love is to me, allowing others the freedom to dream their own dreams. To be there when you are needed, and comfortable in the wings when all you need to do, is stand by and watch ones dream coming true. Thank you so very much to all of you for the gifts of yourselves.

SO.......
It seems, I am becoming a little bit "known" around our beautiful country, and to be honest, it is a wonderful, but strange feeling. In every town, in every state, I am surrounded by beautiful souls! From the toughest looking scooter tramps, to the softest ladies, and the sweetest guys to the wildest bitches, rich and not so rich. EVERYONE has been amazing to me always. I have made real friends, and found out some cool stuff.

Like, Pittsburgh has the greatest sports fans in the U.S. and is tied with Chicago for the most awesome grub!

The Midwest is still the AMERICA I grew up with.

The South still raises chivalrous men, yes they are Big in Texas!

Alaska really is the place for a gal to go, if she wants to "doink" herself to death!

And in any state...AMERICAN SOLDIERS F**ING ROCK!!!
The Rocky Mountains are where the spirits live, I know mine will never leave here, and we all are so damn blessed to live in this country!
Even if many are trying to screw it up with their commy bullsh*t. There are still enough of us that are REAL AMERICANS to keep it the land of the free!

SUPPORT YOUR TROOPS IN EVERYWAY YOU CAN THINK OF!!!!!!!

Most of us will never know what they and their families go through.

In closing, just know this...

I am glad as hell, I was raised to not care too much what people think of me. We all have a right to be happy! Never loose the YOU. In the end, those that dig you, will do so because you are YOU. The rest of them.... well, you know.

So, that's all for now. Enjoy everyday like it is your last! And LOVE, LOVE LOVE, without fear!!!!!!!! Till we meet again! HI HO SILVER! AWAAAAAAAY!

PLEASE

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS and Their Families!!!!
